On Boarding Process: The organizational socialization

In the era of social media, we often forget that socialization/familiarization with a new company is also vitally important for new comers. Through the onboarding process new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become effective organizational members. Research has demonstrated that well organized onboarding process lead to positive outcomes for new employees such as higher job satisfaction, better job performance, greater organizational commitment, and reduction in occupational stress and intent to quit.

Datametrix is recognized for its strong and effective onboarding process. Together with QA manager, responsible for onboarding, new employees and trainees go through the necessary trainings, SOPs and Policies which outline our internal ways of working. The first step of the onboarding plan is related to data privacy and information security as we are working within the pharmaceutical field. Once the new employee pass successfully the first required tests he/she get the access to internal integrated working space and continue the onboarding process by deepen his/her knowledge related the regulatory requirements like ICH-GCP and 21 CFR PART 11 and the quality aspects within the company.

When the general part is completed, a specific training plan is in place to ensure that the new employee has the required qualifications to perform effectively his/her tasks later.
